When we see something in the neighborhood that we think can be improved, we open a “case.”
We can’t fix everything. Also, we’re not sure that everything in a city should be “fixed.” We look for little things that will benefit lots of people—residents, workers, and visitors alike. We look for things that will inspire people to care about downtown Boston.
Once we decide to “take a case,” we to learn about the problem by investigating, photographing, researching, and calling around. Then, we decide on an action plan and try our best to see things through until the case is “closed.”
